Dr. Kimberly Rae Connor
Dr. Kimberly Conner joined the University of San Francisco in 2001 and teaches in the area of leadership ethics. She has received grants for her work from The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, The National Endowment for the Humanities, The Jesuit Foundation, and the Lilly and Luce Foundations. She has published two books on African American culture and currently stands as the director for interdisciplinary studies at the USF School of Management.
Dr. Conner received her PhD from the University of Virginia in 1991 in religion and literature. Her expertise in African American religious life and cultural production has also led her to be well-published in various journals, reviews, and encyclopedia entries on topics related to American religion and literature, and multicultural pedagogy. Dr. Conner has been the Academy Series editor and chair of the Publications Committee, and currently is the associate editor for the Journal of the American Academy of Religion.
