To be eligible for the University of San Francisco online Master of Public Administration program, you must meet the following qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Two letters of recommendation
- Current resume
- Two years of professional work experience
- Statement of Purpose
- 3.0 GPA preferred; 2.7 GPA minimum
An interview may be required.
Applicants who did not earn an undergraduate or graduate degree or have not completed two or more years of study in a degree program in English at a higher education institution in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand, must submit a TOEFL, IELTS or PTE Academic Score. A TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based) and 1000 (computer-based) must be achieved.

Once all of your documents have been received, your completed application is presented to the Executive Admissions Committee for evaluation. Acceptance decisions are made on a rolling basis and are accepted throughout the year. Each application is considered for the next entering class, so the sooner you complete the process, the sooner you can begin the program.
Transfer credits are not accepted for this program.
